International ROV Competition

I have noticed that many of my readers live outside the United States where I live so you may not be familiar with the International Remote Operated Vehicle Competition that is held every year. It is a wonderful opportunity for students to build an ROV of their own and compete with other schools. Each year a "real life" scenario is developed, and students must build a Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicle that can accomplish specific tasks designed to challenge students to think "outside the box". Information about past competitions can be found here. If you think your school might like to participate next year, contact the MATE Center in Monterey California. They would love to see greater international participation! To get an overview of this years competition check out this link!
